Machine safety

The Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) is one of the most important legal provisions of the European Union regarding the safety of machinery. The aim of the Machinery Directive is to ensure a high level of protection of the health and safety of persons using machinery and to protect the environment.

How can we help:

  • security audit:
    – assessment of conformity of machines with the Machinery Directive;
    – assessment of compliance with harmonized standards;
  • risk analysis:
    -carrying out a risk analysis, and thus assessing any potential risks associated with the use of the machine and providing guidelines for taking appropriate steps to minimize these risks;
  • assessment of technical security measures:
    – assessment of the degree of compliance with technical security measures, such as protection against mechanical, electrical, thermal and other threats;
  • proposed solutions, adaptation and technical implementation:
    – support in the adaptation of the proposed solutions;
    – designing comprehensive security solutions;
    – implementation.
